A BloodMoon avatar account is required before a region can be connected to the grid.

OpenSimulator knowledge

You should already know the basics of installing, configuring and running an OpenSimulator region.

Network access

Your hosting environment must allow the network configuration required by OpenSimulator, including port forwarding or NAT when necessary.

1. Create or use your BloodMoon account

If you do not yet have a BloodMoon avatar, create one first. If you already have one, you can go directly to the next step.

2. Contact the BloodMoon team

Send us a request through the contact form and include the name of your BloodMoon avatar.

3. Receive the prepared configuration

We will reply with a download link containing the pre-configured files needed to connect your simulator to BloodMoon.

4. Install and connect

Apply the provided configuration to your OpenSimulator installation and complete the connection of your self-hosted region.
